FAQs

What is the goal of this fundraiser?

The goal is to raise $10,000 to fund a camp for 100 kids, providing them with one pair of shoes each, a shirt, and a meal. Every dollar raised will be matched by the Singh Foundation, doubling the impact of your donation.

Who is organizing this fundraiser?

The fundraiser is organized by Jumpshot Generosity, with the support of The Singh Foundation, a Canadian-registered, CRA-approved foundation.

What will my donation be used for?

Your donation will be used to fund the camp for 100 kids. Each child will receive one pair of shoes, a shirt, and a meal. The camp is free for the students, with no cost to their families. Any excess funds will be directed towards future camps under the Jumpshot Generosity program.

What happens if we exceed the fundraising goal?

If we exceed the $10,000 goal, the additional funds will be used for the next camp. All excess funds will strictly go towards our "Jumpshot Generosity" program, helping more kids benefit from our camps and receive shoes.

Can I get a tax credit for my donation?

Yes, donations made to this fundraiser are eligible for tax credits. The Singh Foundation will issue tax credit receipts to anyone or any entity that donates.

How can I donate?

You can donate through the Singh Foundation's website. For more information on how to donate, contact Emerson Murray at 604-445-1532 or email admin@klinikathletics.com.

How are the children selected, and who are the deserving students?

The children for this camp are selected through our relationship with the school board and partnerships with community schools. Deserving students are those who might be at risk youth, below the poverty line, or lacking opportunities to play sports. We aim to help as many students as possible, creating a joyful environment where kids can learn, play, and enjoy themselves.

Can I volunteer for the camp?

Yes, we welcome volunteers! If you'd like to volunteer, contact Emerson Murray at 604-445-1532 or email admin@klinikathletics.com. You can also reach out through our Instagram page, @jumpshotgenerosity.

How can I stay updated on the fundraiser's progress?
