Jumpshot Generosity is a visionary initiative that aims to empower underserved and at-risk youth in British Columbia through the transformative power of basketball. Emerson Murray

Director, FOUNDER

Emerson Murray, an accomplished basketball player with an impressive resume, founded The Klinik, a basketball and athletic program dedicated to serving the youth of BC. Murray’s accolades include winning a Provincial Championship in 2009, playing Division-1 basketball for Cal-Berkeley (NCAA March Madness Tournament: 2011) and Seattle U, representing the Canadian Junior National Team, participating in the All-Canadian High School Allstar Game, and playing professionally in Europe & Asia. Murray’s profound personal connection with basketball drove his awareness of underserved and at-risk youth in the community, inspiring the inception of Jumpshot Generosity.

PARTNER, FOUNDING CHARITY

The Singh Foundation, a registered charity based in BC, was established with a core mission to cultivate opportunities for youth by encouraging active participation in their communities through sports and local programs. With a longstanding presence of over 50 years in the Surrey Community, the foundation deeply understands the significance of providing children a safe and healthy environment for play. Their overarching objective is to extend this opportunity to all children and families, irrespective of personal, societal, or economic barriers. The members of the Singh Foundation have actively served as volunteer youth coaches within the community for more than two decades.
